Obtaining a One-Year Tourist Visa with Multiple Entries to Vietnam for Just $200: My Nomadic Journey2/20/2024 Allow me to share an exciting experience of how I managed to secure a one-year tourist visa with multiple entries to Vietnam at an incredibly affordable price. As a full-time nomad who rarely stays in one place for more than three months, Vietnam has become one of my favorite countries, and I am well-acquainted with its visa history.
Previously, Vietnam offered a one-year business visa for $300, followed by the 30-day e-visa and currently the 90-day e-visa. During my stay in Vietnam, I had planned a trip to the Philippines for two months before returning to Vietnam for another 3.5 months. Afterward, I intended to fly to the United States to visit my family. To simplify my travels within Southeast Asia and eliminate visa-related concerns, I decided to apply for two e-visas to cover my 3.5-month stay in Vietnam. Applying for the e-visas individually, I was pleased to have both applications approved. This success prompted me to consider extending my visa to a one-year multiple-entry option, which would cost only $200. I realized that this would allow me to freely explore other countries in the region without worrying about visa restrictions or dates. Consequently, I applied for two additional e-visas, starting in September, while still in Vietnam, and both were approved. However, when I applied for another e-visa while in Vietnam, I received the disappointing message of "denied for foreigner still in Vietnam." Determined to rectify the situation, I flew to the Philippines and resubmitted my application. To my relief, it was approved just four working days later. As I write this blog, I have just entered my last e-visa, and given the success of my previous five applications, I am confident that this one will be approved as well. If you enjoyed this blog post, I invite you to register on my website, where I will provide more detailed information about my journey. I will also include the specific details I entered in each box of the e-visa application form, accompanied by relevant pictures. Here's a helpful tip: wait until you receive an email notification confirming the approval of your previous visa before applying for the next one. I believe this was the key to avoiding any issues, as I encountered a problem when I applied for a new e-visa before receiving the notification for the previous one. The e-visa rules remained consistent throughout, stating that it is exclusively for foreigners outside Vietnam. It is worth noting that there is currently no limit to the number of e-visas you can apply for, and Asian Insider is committed to providing you with up-to-date and insider information, allowing you to stay one step ahead in this ever-changing travel landscape. Thank you for accompanying me on this journey, and I hope you find my insights valuable.

Yes. Example September 1st to December 1st then next evisa December 1st until to 1st March. Just type in google 90 days from and enter you're date to get the correct count.

Oh, okay. That's helpful...thanks. The acquired visas don't expire because they are set to 2025 dates. So.....are you saying I could spend say a month in Malaysia and while there apply for 4 visas each taking less than 10 days to get approved, and then I'd have the 4 visas to use over the next year when I return to Da Nang?

This is misleading. It's not a one-year visa. It's 4 visas for one year.

This is not misleading and when vietnam had the 1 year tourist visa you still had to leave the country every three months.

So the idea behind this visa is that it’s a business visa for foreigners who need to enter the country on relative short notice. Did you have to prove any income or do additional legwork to prove that you doing business dealings or no?
